Launched in March 2024, Applied Energy Materials and Technologies focuses on the synthesis and processing of new materials for photoelectrochemical and photocatalytic reactions, including solar energy materials and photoelectrode architectures for photoelectrochemical and photocatalytic reactions, such as water splitting, carbon dioxide reduction and photodegradation of organic pollutants. These new materials are then characterized to relate their properties to their final performance, thereby enhancing the fundamental understanding needed to optimize them. The scientificresearchcenters on the interaction between light and matter to create photoabsorbent materials and develop efficient and renewable energy solutions.
